Chavela Boutique was created in honor of my two grandmothers, Chavela and Nena—two remarkable women who were polar opposites, yet equally inspiring.
Chavela was the heart of the family. She worked tirelessly in the fields, bringing everyone together with the belief that hard work, unity, and perseverance could build a better future.
Nena never drove or worked outside the home, but she led in a different way. She was highly educated, deeply faithful, and a woman of grace whose unwavering morals and love for God shaped everyone around her. She taught that true strength comes from faith, kindness, and integrity.
Together, they left a legacy of resilience, family, faith, and grace.
